The five repairs we do most in Central Texas
1. Roof tune-up — from $249. We reseal every pipe boot and flashing, replace cracked boots, seat exposed nails, seal nail pops, clear the valleys and gutters, and check the vents. Most leaks we are called to could have been stopped here for a fraction of the cost.
2. Pipe jack boots. The rubber collar around plumbing vent pipes dries out in about eight to ten Texas summers, splits, and lets water run straight down the pipe into the attic. A ceiling stain near a bathroom is the first reason we check this detail; a boot swap is often a same-day fix.
3. Wind damage. Central Texas fronts lift shingles before they tear them. We check ridges, eaves, and rake edges first, then explain whether the damage is storm-related and worth an insurance conversation.
4. Hail damage. We look for bruising, granule loss, and dented soft metals. If it is cosmetic, we say so. If it is functional, we document it slope by slope. Hail and wind damage guidance
5. Valley leaks. Valleys carry more water than any other part of the roof. Debris, rusted metal, a bad cut, or a misplaced nail can make a valley leak every hard rain. We clear it, reflash it, or rebuild it based on what we find.
We also repair chimney and wall flashing, skylights, vent stacks, satellite-dish mounts, and other leak sources. If it is on the roof, we repair it.
